TORNADO RELIEF - VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
American Red Cross Calling For Local Volunteers

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK, Tuesday, June 11, 2013 – The American Red Cross is calling on the community to support the Red Cross and volunteer to help in the Multi-Agency Resource Centers and assist with data entry. There was a surge of volunteers following the tornadoes and now we need that help again.

Volunteers in the Multi-Agency Resource Centers will act as greeters, guides and assistants to individuals and families coming in to meet with the Red Cross and other partner agencies.

The Red Cross is also in need of volunteers to help with casework data entry. Due to the nature of this job, basic computer skills and knowledge are required. Also, a cleared background check is required.

There are a number of shifts available over the next two weeks.
For those wishing to volunteer, they should register ONLINE (link embedded) and fill out the appropriate forms and background check. They can also call, 571-205-3266 or 571-205-3551 or dr225-13ss-lcv2@redcross.org  for more information.
This is an extremely important service the Red Cross delivers to people affected by the storms and we appreciate in advance your commitment to helping these individuals.

About the American Red Cross:
