  • Edmond Mobile Meals Hosts 2nd Annual EdFest 10.3.14

    October 3, 2014

    Edmond Mobile Meals will host their 2nd annual EdFest event on Friday, October 3 in downtown Edmond at the Festival Market Place, 26 W. 1st Street. The family-friendly activities will kick off at 6pm and last until 10pm. EdFest is the biggest fundraiser of the year for Edmond Mobile Meals. EdFest attendees can look forward to delicious local food trucks, local breweries, a Kidzone and live music from local band “Souled Out”. Entry is free. Food trucks in attendance will include The Meat House, Truckburger, 2 Brothers Bistro, Crepe Brewers, and Mims Bakery. Local breweries participating this year are Tallgrass Brewing, Bricktown Brewery, Shiner and Mustang Brewery. EdFest 2014 will have lots of fun activities for kids of all ages with a jump house, face painting with Silly Lily, temporary tattoos, carnival games, a cookie walk, Katiebug’s Shaved Ice Truck, character photos and balloons.     Musical duo Kelly Holst, soprano, and Warren Puffer Jones, piano, will perform a benefit concert for PAMBE Ghana at 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, October 14, at St. Paul's Cathedral, 127 NW 7, with a reception to follow. Tickets will be at the door for $25 each, $10 for students.
