The Friends of Tuttle Public Library and United Electronic Recycling will have a HUGE recycling event April 26 from 9am-2pm at Snow Hill Baptist Church, Hwy 37 & Morgan Rd, Tuttle. 4/28 The Fourth Annual Bobwhite Scramble

The Fourth Annual Bobwhite Scramble, benefiting the Youth Programs of Central Oklahoma Quail Forever, will be held Monday, April 28, 2014 at River Oaks Golf Club. The tournament will have a shotgun start at 1pm, registration/check-in opens at 1130am. The cost is $125/player, $450/team ($115/player, $425/team before 4/7/14) and includes golf fees, dinner, awards, gift bag, and UNLIMITED DRINKS INCLUDING DOMESTIC BEER on the course. 4/28 Central Oklahoma Quail Forever

Central Oklahoma Quail Forever is a local, non-profit wildlife conservation organization. We will be hosting the Fourth Annual Bobwhite Scramble on April 28 at 1pm, at River Oaks Golf Club. Our golf tournament raises money that funds our youth outreach programs and events each year. Together with our major tournament sponsor, Access Sports, and many other generous sponsors and donors, we create a fun and memorable golf experience for our players and raise money that ultimately gets Oklahoma kids off their couches and into the outdoors. We are still accepting player registrations and would like to add our event to your calendar or possibly have the date announced on the air if you have any segments dedicated to local charitable events. 5/3 The JDRF Hope Gala

The 17th Annual Hope Gala and the 1st Annual "Run for the Roses" Hope Gala on Saturday, May 3rd at Cox Convention Center. The Kentucky Derby themed event will include a hat contest, derby raffle, live and silent auctions, and more. Dress in your best evening attire or wear your best derby inspired attire and join us for this unforgettable night as we continue our journey to find a cure for type 1 diabetes (T1D).

5/3 El Reno's 26th Annual Burger Day Festival

Join us for the 26th annual BURGER DAY FESTIVAL! Come watch the WORLD’S LARGEST fried onion burger being cooked over an open pit’s 8 1/2 feet in diameter and weighs over 850 pounds. You might even get a free bite of the big one! Downtown El Reno will be bustling with family fun. There will be entertainment located throughout the festival; MAIN STAGE, featuring the Mike McClure Band and Shiloh Station; CHILDREN’S STAGE, featuring clowns, magicians, dancers and fun contests; and, of course, Rockin-on-Rock Island music playing all your special requests. 5/4 Third Annual Benefit Car, Cycle, and Crafts Show

We are hosting our third annual benefit car show on Sunday, MAY 4 from 1-6 PM. It is open to all cars, trucks, and motorcycles. All funds raised go to help our students go on their mission trip. The entry fee is $20. There are 24 classes and six best-in-shows. The first 50 people entries will receive a goody bag. There will be food, crafts, 50/50, and door prizes. 5/4 The Eagle Run

The Eagle Run is a 1 Mile - 5K Run / Walk and Toddler Dash that will take place Sunday, May 4th, 2014 at Eagle Heights Church, OKC. 5/17 Indie Trunk Show

There is a newsworthy local event happening in OKC on May 17th at the state fairgrounds! This event has the potential to really boost local business sales, which improves our community. Indie Trunk Show OKC is all about the local crafters, artists, and businesses of Oklahoma! All vendors either sell handmade goods,vintage style decor/accessories, repurposedfurniture/home decor, or are locally owned small boutiques. Shopping local supports our community! Free Admission!!!! 9/6 Oklahoma Mustang Club Stampede

Oklahoma Mustang Club Stampede, held in conjuction with Mustang’s Western Days festivities. It will be held at the Mustang Town Center at 1201 N. Mustang Road, Mustang, OK Registration: 8 am-11 am with award ceremony at 3:00 pm The OMC Annual Stampede Car Show will be held at the Mustang Town Center at 1201 N. Mustang Road in Mustang OK. Registration opens at 8 am and closes at 11 am with awards presented at 3:00 pm. Save $5 by registering early (prior to September 3rd). We'll have a DJ for music, door prizes, and dash plaques along with a 50/50 pot. We have over 35 Open classes and that many Mustang classes too! Awards will be presented to 1st - 3rd place. We will also have 4 Best Of Show in both the Open and Mustang classes selected by the city dignitaries along with the Luke Lucas Award of Excellence for the best Mustang. The OMC will also host a free hospitality night the evening before at the Mustang Town Center (59th& Mustang Road). 9/20 Car Show

Minco Little League Baseball is having a fund raiser car show on September the 20, 2014. It will be at Johnson Park in Minco Oklahoma. Registration is between 8-11 am judging between 11am-1pm trophies will be given out at 2pm. We are raising money to do some up grading on the bleachers and the ball fields. The classes are cars, trucks pre-50, 1951-1960, 1961-1970, 1971-1980, 1981-1990, 1991 to present, 4X4,special interest, Unfinished(must be in primer), rat rods, street rods, and low riders. Early registration: $15 by Sept.15 Day of show $20. Make checks payable to Minco Little League.
