12 vanilla ice cream sandwiches

8 oreos

1 pkg Jell-O Chocolate instant pudding & Pie Filling

1 tub thawed cool whip

1/2 cup chocolate syrup (or ice cream fudge topping)

Pour the chocolate syrup into a medium bowl. Stir in 1 cup of cool whip with wire wisk until blended. Add in the dry pudding mixture, stir until blended. If it is too thick to spread evenly, add 1/4 cup milk.

Chop Oreos roughly into chunks. They don't have to be the same size. Stir into pudding mixture.

Arrange 4 sandwiches, side by side, on a 24x12 piece of foil. Spread 1/2 of pudding mixture on top. Repeat the layers.

Add last 4 sandwiches on top. Frost the top and sides with the remaining cool whip. It doesn't have to look perfect.

Bring up the foil sides, fold the top and ends loosely to seal the packet. Freeze at least 4 hours before serving. Let stand at room temperature to soften slightly before serving.

My brothers fight over the last piece every time I bring it home.
