I'm SICK & TIRED of American Idol running long & screwing up my DVR, so here's my thoughts to fix the entire show. See what you think...

Performance Nights:
Quick introductions of judges, Ryan & so Paula can show off her jewelry & what the others are wearing.  The mentor makes one big quote about how cool the contestants are & done.  After that, Adam blows away the crowd like every week, Simon does his thing & the other judges don't chime in, they just nod or shoot angry looks at him for his wonderful or too karaoke comments.

 

Up next Danny does his Danny Gokey thing, Simon says it was a bit boring, but understands why America loves him. The audience boos.  Then, run the highlights of the rest, cause c'mon it's going to be Adam & Danny in the final 2.  Ryan gives out all the dial-in numbers, reminding us that they are 866 numbers & that standard text messaging rates apply. 

 

He then wishes everyone a good night. Kara says artistry, Randy yells  dawg & Paula babbles randomly, until she's cut off by the start of the next show.  Badda bing, badda done.

The results show:
Just like the performance night...Quick introductions of judges, Ryan & the Paula jewelry thing & what the others are wearing.  Ryan calls the contestants except Adam or Danny to center stage & yes they look sad/surprised.  Ryan asks Simon who should go home, Simon says the name of his weekly punching bag & the audience boos.

All the contestants except the bottom 2 go back to the couch, Ryan throws out a made up HUGE number of votes, to help his ego & then sends the loser off to sing their song only to be cut off by a Ford commercial.  Zip Zap That's A Wrap.
