Add Raptors to the list of KD suitors

Drake makes sales pitch and end of Toronto concert

There's a long list of NBA cities wanting Kevin Durant to play for their team when his current contract expires after the 2015-16 season.

Oklahoma City heads that list, of course.

Thunder teammates, the front office, the city and the entire state of Oklahoma no doubt will beg, plead and do whatever is necessary to keep Durant.

In response, every NBA team with salary cap space (and some without) figure to do the same.

This process already has commenced with early pushes coming from Wizards, Knicks and Nets fans, and you can now add the Raptors to the list.

At the end of his concert in his hometown of Toronto on Monday night, rapper Drake gave a shoutout to KD, who was in attendance. Drake asked fans to show Durant what it would be like to play in Toronto and the crowd responded with a huge ovation.

Here is the video and story from Dime's Steven Lebron:

Given that Drake has gotten involved, Durant's recruitment could go global and have far-reaching ramifications given how many teams for which Drake has a "rooting" interest.

     Take a look.
